Delegate Comments:  The Monterey JACL chapter hosted the second quarter district meeting at the Monterey Buddhist Church .  The Monterey chapter were terrific hosts.  They served breakfast and lunch.  And their church is beautiful!  They also provided the delegates with a bag full of Monterey brochures, trinkets, and a bottle of wine!  At the meeting, we did get into a discussion about the Pacific Citizen.  Some of the delegates of the NCWNP voiced their concern about lack of NCWNP coverage, the type of coverage, and responsiveness to our inquiries/submissions/requests.  Also discussed was the JACL’s policy/stance regarding the use of the word “JAP.”  See notes below.
